The RFM900 series of Peltier temperature controlled refractometers comprises two standard models according to resolution and accuracy and are specifically suited to applications requiring a wide measuring range between 1.30 and 1.70 RI such as those in the pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical, aroma, flavour and fragrance industries.
Features include a unique RFID tag identifier that allows rapid identification of users and provides access control to the configuration menu. The instrument conforms to US, European and UK Pharmacopoeia and can be formatted to control data in accordance with FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 11, making it ideally suited for use in restricted areas such as in the pharmaceutical industry.
The RFM960 and RFM970 conforms to petroleum test method ‘ASTM 1218’ for single wavelength measurement and features special software to calculate carbon type composition of mineral insulating oils in accordance with ASTM d 2140.
The instrument also facilitates the use of autosamplers when connected in series with other instruments such as density meters and polarimeters (from March 2009).
