ADS Saccharimeter: Purity Packages
Whichever wavelength or package type is purchased, all ADS Saccharimeters are supplied with a CD-ROM that not only includes foreign version manuals but a PC program for calculating PURITY.
When loaded to a PC¹, the software combines both the measurements of the ADS420 Saccharimeter and a compatible refractometer (such as the RFM712 refractometer) forming one of the lowest cost purity systems on the market today. Results are displayed on the screen and may be stored or printed as desired.
In harsh environments where mechanical peripheral devices are likely to become damaged, Bellingham + Stanley recommend the use of a touch sensitive LCD screen¹ (code 55-31) and in the event that the use of a PC is prohibitive, an alternative would be to use the ADP440 Polarimeter, which has the option to directly connect a compatible refractometer² and give results of purity on the instrument screen (The ADP440 is only available in sodium wavelength configuration – 589nm).
