ADS Saccharimeter:
Flow Packages

For busy laboratories or for use at the Tare House, a funnel flow cell should be adopted. This allows the operator to apply the sample by pouring a sufficient amount through the polarimeter tube to wash the old sample away, leaving enough sample to be analysed and thus eliminating the need to clean the tube and windows between each analysis. 

Flow packages are supplied in 100 or 200mm water-jacketed tube formats and are fitted with the relevant slotted lid, the latter eliminating ambient light from the measurement chamber and keeping the tube in place. 

In addition to the flow package, a number of other instrument configurations are available. Optional extras such as flow through cells allow sample to be pumped to the Saccharimeter as part of a multiple instrument test or the 100mm funnel cell offer ease of use for dark samples and are highlighted in the table below.
